First Visit Experience

During your first visit to our office it is important that you get to know our team and we learn more about you as well. We encourage you to ask questions, express any concerns you have and share about yourself.

When you walk into our waiting area, we have taken precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Chairs are spaced out to allow for social distancing or you may wait in your car. Although we love interacting with our patients, we currently have glass shields in place to reduce aerosols. You will be greeted by one of our patient care coordinators, who will ask you to fill out our new patient forms on an iPad, if you haven’t filled them out online. We strive to be a paperless office to do our part for the environment. Our patient care coordinator will also be happy to give you a tour of the office as well.

You will then be introduced to our dental hygienist. In order to provide safe and personalized treatment, we will review your medical history as certain medical conditions and medications can influence your treatment protocols. Our hygienist will then take a full-mouth series of x-rays to assist in examining your dentition. After which, she will take some measurements of your gums and evaluate the x-rays for signs of periodontal disease. If deemed the appropriate treatment, she will perform a dental cleaning to remove soft and hard plaque deposits off of your teeth as well as remove any stains.

One of our doctors will come in to perform a full oral examination of your teeth, gums, oral tissues and jaw, including an oral cancer screening. They will then discuss their findings with you and make sure to listen to what your smile goals are. Together, we will create a personalized treatment plan or multiple options that best meet your dental and personal requirements. We will prioritize and work with your schedule to give you a beautiful and functional smile in a timeframe that you can afford.

Our treatment care coordinators will review how the insurance process works and make sure all of your financial questions are answered. They will also follow up with you regarding any scheduled appointments communicate regarding any updates with your insurance company.

We promise to go above and beyond to make you feel safe and relaxed. We are humbled and excited to meet you. Welcome!
